MFA in Production

The MFA Program is a full-time (Fall, Spring, and Summer), two-year course of study in motion picture production in which 90 credit hours of courses are ultimately completed. Our focus is story and storytelling. To maintain the caliber of education necessary for our students to succeed in an extremely competitive industry, we admit only 24 production students each year. MFA in Writing for the Stage & Screen

The course of study in Writing for the Stage & Screen is offered jointly by the College of Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts, and The School of Theatre. Only six writing students are admitted each Fall. The program is comprised of six consecutive semesters (61 hours of completed coursework) that lead to a Master of Fine Arts Degree. The Torchlight Program

The Torchlight Program is a non-degree granting academic program designed to enhance the education of film students by providing instruction in current and emerging business practices of the motion picture industry.
